Summers@Hell

Last few days have been crazy...
Summers @ B school.
There are many aspects of a B school life which came to the forefront in these few days.

First of all , frankly I don't understand the use of a summer stint( 8 weeks) for a person who has already spent around on avg 3-4 years in industry.
But then there are so many things here which are old and have been left as such.

Got dinged by my dream companies.The Firm! Though if I look back, the effect it had on me was immense.
Such great people.Taj parties. But then some things are not meant to happen:( May be some day...May be some day in future....
I knew that I am not going to make it.Such inherent flaws in my approach.And its good that these things came out.
Now have an idea as to what I am lagging behind in...

Besides, they truly say that IIM L summer process is one of the best designed process.
I like the way senior batch is putting in their efforts for us (barring a few selected...no need to mention their ulterior motive)
Kudos to Sir Rocky to design such a huge operations process.

Coming down to friends.
I hate when such brilliant people are finding it difficult to get summers.
These are bad times.
Really bad times. But then is it our fault? Who is responsible ? With each passing day the frustration level of the batch is going up.
I dunno for how long will they be hiding the true facts.They will have to face the batch-either for their incompetency or the true scenario.
Either way its my batch which is at loss.
I sincerely hope that the whole batch gets placed.Desperate times need desperate measures.Lets all stand together.

Good to see that the students who are getting placed are putting in efforts for other people.
This is human spirit.

But overall, this summer experience has left many questions and has made me think as to what it will lead to?
Will I be a misfit in my summer job profile.
What was it that I wanted? And where I landed?
No regrets.At least it is there.Rite.That was the prime objective.
Now I should be more proactive in my approach.

My attitude needs an overhaul.There are many things which I need to work upon.
Sooner the better.
